About
Welcome. This is where I write things down so I don't have to remember them. If you find any of it useful, that's a pleasant side effect.
My name is Varol Cagdas Tok. If that's hard to pronounce, just Tok is fine.
I'm a software engineer based in Germany. My research interests span machine learning, software testing, and security. On the security side, I work on platform security, bot detection, and offensive security, with a focus on adversarial behavioral patterns and detection robustness under adaptive conditions.
This site is a collection of notes on topics I work with: software testing methodology, machine learning theory, linear algebra, offline reinforcement learning, and web application security and network security, including denial-of-service attack classes, SQL injection, cross-site scripting, authentication vulnerabilities, and server-side request forgery.
I'm not great at keeping up with messages. If I'm slow to respond, it's nothing personal.
Background
I hold a B.S. in Computer Science, a B.S. in Computational Linguistics, and an M.S. in Computer Science from LMU Munich.
Living in Germany. I speak English, German, and Turkish.
